Below are the three interesting takeaways at Day 1. 

• Helping 330 million unbanked Africans can double the African economy. Ericsson, Huawei, Telepin and Mahindra Comviva are working together. Collaboration is the key to financial inclusion.

• Open API for the Level One Project will be out on GitHub on June/July.

• 80% of the world’s unbanked live in Muslim countries? (Khalid Saad, Bahrain EDB)

• Ian Dyson, the current Commissioner of the City of London Police said, “cyber crime makes up almost half of all crimes reported in the U.K., however it is estimated that only 10% of cyber crimes are reported.” The data protection and cybersecurity are crucial and essential.
